Acropolis Hill, Athens, Greece. Main entrance on Dionysiou Areopagitou Street. Metro: Acropoli station (Line 2).
Summer (Apr-Oct): 8:00-20:00. Winter (Nov-Mar): 8:00-17:00. Closed on major holidays.
Plan 2-3 hours for a thorough visit. Rush visits can be done in 1.5 hours.

Sturdy walking shoes with good grip. The marble surfaces are smooth and can be slippery.
